ReplyDeleteHonestly, the only one actually worth subbing is The Bomb Hurricane, since the others were just retellings of random episodes, and didn't Grown Ups In Spandex sub it already?
ReplyDeleteWe're not translating any movie since they're mostly theatrical versions of regular episodes. The only movie really worth subbing was already translated by Megabeast Empire.
ReplyDeleteIt's not wrong to translate something another group already did, but MBE's translation is very good and thus there is no point in us doing it all over again. Our time is better spent on the v2ing of the show, and Blue SWAT
ReplyDeleteIt's so great to see GO RANGERS again, and to understand it! I watched it untranslated as a kid, back around 1977. We recorded a couple on 3/4" videotape. Only two of them, because those huge tapes probably cost $30.00 each! So we watched the "Pirate Mask" (Kai-zoku Kamen) episode hundreds of times, over and over, up until maybe 1980. We'd figured out the story, and thanks to your subtitled print, I can re-live the nostalgia. Not only that, but I realize we elementary school kids in CA were 90% accurate in understanding the story!
