Blue SWAT - Episodes 11~13

What's up, y'all! I won't waste time on excuses: life happened. But here we are again! This time with a nice little batch of three episodes. Hopefully there will be more coming soon, but I learned my lesson and won't make promises ever again, lol!

In episode 11, a past enemy of Sarah resurfaces, and it's up to our heroes (and their beloved guns), to put this guy to rest once and for all. But all evidence points to him having been invaded by an alien! Will Sarah's regular 9 mm from her old L.A. SWAT days be of any use? If it isn't, can Seiji come up with something else that's powerful enough? You gotta check this out!

Episode 12 sees the long-awaited return of Show's sportsman rival, Toba! Last we saw him, he'd been invaded by an alien... Now he's back, and pushing Hard Angel, a drug that is capable of f*cking you up so bad that those ugly ass aliens look like regular humans! Will Show be able to save his friend? Will Blue SWAT get high? Watch and see for yourself!

Lastly we got episode 13, in which our heroes are really, really bad at covering their tracks, and their secret is found out by someone close to them. As they're chased into a corner by the Space Mafia's sharpshooter squad, the key to their survival lies with... Sumire?! Will they be able to drive her away from this, to keep her safe? Blue SWAT - Episode 10

Well yeah, for starters you shouldn't say you're buying stolen stuff

Happy new year, everyone! After an extended leave of absence, due to staff having finals and other stuff to deal with, and due to the festivities, we're now back! I'm not sure we'll be as consistent as we were for the first nine episodes from the get go, we're kinda warming up still, but we sure as hell will try our best to bring you more Blue SWAT over the course of 2019. Hope you all do great this year too!

In this week's episode, our favorite trio of heroes is hired to investigate a series of break-ins at rental warehouses, where nothing is stolen. They are broken in, a couple pieces of art are smashed to bits, and that's it. They immediately start investigating, and run into stolen art dealers. But wait, they're also aliens! Just why are they smashing all those statues? What do they want with Buddha? Are aliens religious? Find out in this week's episode of Blue SWAT!

Blue SWAT - Episode 09

That's what happens when you ask strangers how much they weigh, Show.

Well, hello there everyone! We've got a new episode for you. This week our heroes at Blue Research get a strange request... They have to find a stupidly rich dude a bride! If they succed in finding this guy the perfect woman, they'll receive a payment large enough to send them into retirement. That is, of course, if there's no alien plot involved... Wait, what's that? That gorgeous woman they set Richie Rich up with has gone missing? Just what could've happened?! Find out in this week's episode of Blue SWAT!

Blue SWAT - Episode 08

Okay, Seiji, we get it, you're powerful too. Did you have to shoot like this?

Took us a little longer to release this one, sorry about that. Life, and all. Anyways, this week's episode is a blast, and I think you all are going to love it! Our heroes get a request from some kid to find his father, who has gone missing. The police tells him he's probably just run off and abandoned him, but after hearing the full story the team feels like there might be more to it... They investigate, and to their surprise the man is in the hospital, pregnant with a baby! But waitaminnit, how is that even possible? Find out that, and much more, in this week's episode of Blue SWAT, just after the jump!

Blue SWAT - Episode 07

No, but seriously. What's with Show and the guns??

What up, everyone! Blue SWAT 07, coming straight out of the oven for you~

Our heroes are alerted by their faithful secretary Sumire (though she didn't really intend to alert them of anything) of a crashed alien spaceship somewhere in Japan! She has a photograph, and they promptly follow the lead and go after the dude who claims he took it, to find out where that ship is... The only problem: he ain't telling them anything. Will our heroes convince him? Will they find that spaceship? Will the aliens find out about the picture, and hunt down the skilled photographer? Blue SWAT - Episode 06

Show's a little too happy about that gun

Hey, everyone! How have you guys been doing?

Here we are with episode 06! This time the alien plot involves a highly contagious and deadly virus strain, and our heroes must stop them from obtaining it. However, their mission is brought to an early end when Sarah misses a shot and hits one of her teammates! Will he recover? Will Sarah get her confidence back? And more importantly, will they be able to stop the virus from reaching the aliens? Find out after the cut!

This time, Show's old rival from his sportsman days comes back to Japan, and he seems to be caught in the aliens' scheme for world domination... Our heroes go undercover to try and stop their evil plan, but will they be able to put an end to it before being found out? And will they learn how to exercise properly, before they get a hernia?? We have our heroes chasing their first actual request from outside, and there's also a mystery about one of them... We're back again! It's been a while, I know. We have been preparing, and building a backlog so that hopefully there won't be as many delays as we had with Goranger. We'll see, but so far everyting has been looking good for us.

So, in this episode our heroes have to deal with the aftermath of the attack on their squad, and they gotta figure out how to be independent! Luckily, they might've gotten a new ally? Well, let's see what happens!

Hey everyone, here I am again! So, I'm guessing you are wondering, "what the f*?? The show is 84 episodes long!!", but don't be mad! I promise we won't leave you hanging for the last one. In fact, it's pretty much done TBH. We just decided that it wouldn't be fair to make you wait anymore for these great episodes right here, and also that it would be great to release the grand finale simultaneously in both languages, so bear with us a little longer, will ya?

Before we get to the good stuff, we want to make an announcement. We will not be subbing any of the movies. Most of them are just theatrical cuts of episodes, and the ones that aren't already have been subbed by very competent people and we decided to focus on the retime and fixing of the subs for the Blu-Ray releases, and from there to just divert all our efforts into Blue SWAT. I hope you'll understand.

Secret Squadron Goranger: Episode 56, finally!

Hey guys, long time no see!

Someone asked me to do a batch of all the single episodes we released after 32, so here it is. You'll notice the files include episode 56, which has been a long time in the making, and to be very, very honest just hadn't come out yet because yours truly is a lazy bum. This batch was the perfect opportunity to get the ball rolling again, so here it is!

In this episode, four of our brave heroes go on a vacation! Or at least it was supposed to be one, until they were targeted by a Black Cross Army assassin! Will they be able to have their oh-so-deserved break? Or will they be dragged into a fight? Watch and find out!

Secret Squadron Goranger: Episode 55

Well, hello there everyone! I bet you were all thinking we're dead by now, right? Well, sorry to disappoint but we're not. This release has taken this long due to real life taking precedence over fansubbing, yadda yadda yadda, you all know the drill. Not sure if 56 will come any time soon, to be 100% honest with you all, but it will come, eventually. We won't let this die.

POST UPDATED: Secret Squadron Goranger: Episodes 53 & 54

Hello everyone, updating this post to tell you all that I've uploaded v2s of both episodes to fix a typo on 54, and add the missing line on 53. Much thanks to MilkyDreamer from Imagination Station for helping us figure it out!

If you don't care about that line (which wasn't even that important anyway) or typos, then feel free to not download this. I deleted the previous torrent, though, so you can stop seeding if you're not downloading the new ones. Hardsubs are coming very soon out now, as I found someone to help out during Clock Up's absence. Thank you very much, Angel! :D

Alright, it's been quite some time, right? I'm not going to apologize for taking long to release, IRL shit happens, but I am sorry for the lack of updates. Our fans deserve to at least know we're all alive and well, and that the project isn't dead.

First up there is episode 53, the one in which our heroes have to face the mighty Baseball Mask, his team of Zolders, and there's a fun fight involving a shitload of baseball bats. It was pretty fun! Working on this was perhaps the most fun I had with this project so far. Everyone else agrees it is an iconic episode, so enjoy!

Then there's episode 54, in which we say goodbye to a great character. Volcano Mask finally says his goodbyes, after an explosive (volcano, explosions, get it? Huh?) confrontation with the Gorangers. We will miss him dearly, since he was so much fun to hate. And from 55 onwards we will see the exploits of a new evil commander, Golden Mask. Look forward to hating him too!


Notes:

In episode 53, around the 4:18 mark, there's a line by Baseball Mask we couldn't for the life of us translate. I could've made something up, but that didn't seem like a good way to go. Please keep in mind this show is over 40 years old, so sometimes it stumps us. So far, this hadn't happened, but this line was ran through three different translators, and we all got nothing that made sense. If anyone can understand what the hell he's saying, and wants to send in a suggestion, we'd be very happy. Yeah, issue solved! :D

I personally loved this one. In it, our heroes must stop the MOTW from assassinating EAGLE scientists and high officials long-distance. Telephone Mask is a real threat to the Gorangers! Will they be able to stop him? Get your episode and find out!

Secret Squadron Goranger: Happy New Year Release!

Hello everyone, how were the Holidays? I hope y'all had a blast. It is 2016 at last, and here we are, coming back after a short break. There you go, episode 51!

In this episode the Black Cross Army has sent an Old West gunman to do their dirty job. They intend to steal billions of yen, in order to purchase evil supplies! Will our heroes be able to stop them? Gonna have to watch to know!

Translation wise, there's nothing that's actually noteworthy - there's not even a riddle in this one. But we did make some editing choices which I personally liked a lot, and hopefully you will too, namely Gunman Mask's dialogue. It was supposed to reflect an Old West-ish way of talking. Please share your thoughts with us about that!

Also, it was pointed out that we made a mistake on episode 48, and we appreciate having it pointed out. Feel free to tell us if you find any translation errors or anything. We'll make a v2 of this particular episode down the line, when it is time to batch the series. Since it was nothing that would ruin the enjoyment of the episode or the series, we decided not to do it immediately, and I hope you can understand that.

It's Christmas time, everyone, and so good ol' Santa Claus has brought you a special present, and a day early nonetheless! It's the next two Goranger episodes, hooray!

First up, episode 49 involves a plot by the Black Cross Army to get their hands on Franken #1, an invincible robot, which can withstand even the Goranger Storm! Peggy and Asuka are lured into a trap, and must build it for them. 

In episode 50, our heroes are caught by surprise when EAGLE receives a distress signal from a base, claiming the Varidreen has attacked it! Has the Black Cross Army framed them, or were they really betrayed by one of their scientists?

Translation Notes:

50 - The riddle is Daita's way of warning the others of a trap. He draws seven circles on the floor, and Shinmei understands his signal. The pun this time is that "circle", in Japanese, is "wa", while "seven" is "na". When you put those together, you get "wana", which is trap. Neat, huh?

New Release, and News Again!

Hello there, guys! Bet you thought I wasn't gonna show up again until next year, right? Well, you were wrong. Here we are, proud to bring you another episode! This time just one, but more are coming soon enough.

I was gonna make a KFC pun but couldn't think of any :(

In today's episode Magman has his underling Camera Mask steal a new fuel developed by EAGLE, which contains 20 times more steel than a regular fuel. Apparently that makes it much more efficient, but also very dangerous. Will our heroes be able to foil his plan?

Notes:

Taro's riddle this time is "If you stand all day in front of a candy shop, do you know what you receive?". The answer, given by Shinmei, is "Nothing, because it is already dark.". The pun here comes from the two verbs used, which are "呉れる", meaning "to give", and "暮れる", meaning "to get dark". Both sound the same, "kureru".
